7/7 – Sunday

Did a morning walk today. Then breakfast was a chicken soup plus a sweet roll or two.

The day was, for me, sort of slow and that felt good. I only left the house for one trip to the IGA for sour cream and cottage cheese.

I spent a lot of time on the puzzle. But in the end I just couldn’t get’er done. Once again I was the last person standing (sitting), but I was too tired to see well.

The World Cup Women’s Final between USA and Netherlands was today. USA won 2-0. We got to watch it – not sure if our broadcast was real time or delayed, but it was exciting.

Many Puppies went on an ATV trip and they had a great time. I really didn’t feel like an ATV trip, so I stayed with the puzzle. There were storms sweeping the area, but apparently they were not a problem, and just made the ride a bit more interesting.

No lunch today, but there was a supply of food of all kinds. I remember that I ate a few – really, a Few – potato chips, and I warmed up a blueberry muffin at some point.

Dinner by Jane and Orie was really good – grilled chicken, baked beans, macaroni and cheese and a salad. I stuffed in one really big serving of each thing.

And the rest of the evening I fought with the puzzle. I lost.
